A perfect escape

Sail Date: December 05, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

It looks like there hasn't been many updates to the decor of the ship since the 90's but the size was perfectly walk able to everywhere, yet still seemed large.

Pros: The dinners, cabin cleanliness, rock wall, ping pong, basketball hoop, coco loco's

Cons: Windjammer cafe hours were strange, we ate lots of pizza during the day.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Food and Dining
The quality of the dinners was incredibly high and was one of our favorite Parts of the trip. The Buffet hours seemed strange though and we ended up missing them often & getting pizza, which was decently good
Ship Quality
Very clean restrooms everywhere too
Service and Staff
They were all amazing!
Cabin / Stateroom
Our interior room was small but so cozy and completely functional with the large vanity. We slept so well in that room it was hard to leave it behind. The twice daily bed making was so wonderful & made the room so nice to return to.
Bingo seems a little costly, the rock climbing wall and rec area on the deck were a lot of fun too with the ping pong tables and basketball hoop.
