Excellent cruise

Sail Date: December 05, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Clean, friendly and excellent service.

Pros: The food was great and the staff was wonderful. We had an excellent waiter. The ship is smaller but that only made it easier to find everything.

Cons: The musical entertainment in the evening left a lot to be desired. There were no big production numbers. One night an elderly singer and one night a magician.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED) 221? Yes!

Not a lot to do on at sea days and very poor entertainment.
Cabin / Stateroom
Rooms were very, very small. We had an inside cabin and had to have our beds separated so that we could get to them. As separate beds they were the size of bunk beds. Very comfortable bedding and pillows, though.
