Monarch of the Seas Cruise Review to Caribbean - Bahamas
Sail Date: December 02, 2011
Ship: Monarch of the Seas
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Couple

Review SummaryWe have sailed on this ship Monnarch of the Seas several times. This time we were very aware of the decaying state of the ship, Many of the public bathrooms were in disrepair ( toilet seats off and sitting on the floor, tissue holders broken and tissue sitting on the floor, sinks broken/not working). Our stateroom bathroom was clean appearing but smelled strongly of mold. We ate in Claude's dining room and noticed the ceiling panels were drooping down and looked about to fall on a diners head!
The food quality this time was disappointing as well. More package-tasting foods/deserts on the buffet, less variety and fruit not as fresh as we had experienced before. Entrees in the main dining room OK but not as good as last cruise on same ship.
Staff was fantastic all around. Everyone friendly and helpful although I never did see our room attendant. The wait staff at dinner was incrediable and made the experience a pleasure every night!
