Sail Date: November 01, 2011

Room Type: Inside

The cruise was great. We had a good time. I did not like the idea of driving to meet the cruise line in Florida. It would have been better if we could have had a port of call in Hampton Roads/Norfolk Virginia.

Pros: The Show at Sound of Music

Cons: It was scheduled at time that interferred with dinner time seating. Game show that was set up in a lounge with patrons in the bar/lounge conversating with others.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED) 221? Yes!

Ship Quality
It was clean but there was an odor in the gangway of the staterooms.
Food and Dining
Food was great.
Service and Staff
Cabin / Stateroom
Room was too small. I have cruised other ships and the stateroom was the smallest of any interior stateroom that I have ever occupied.
Should have had more activities for seniors.
Children's Programs
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Nassau, Bahamas
You must go on a glass bottom boat ride and experience the coral reef.
