Room Type: Oceanview

for an older ship it was presented well. it was clean and well mentained. the food was great, lots of options. There were loads of activites to keep over 2,000 people entertained. I am a fan of the Monarch and would sail again.

Pros: staff was so friendly

Cons: the casino needed better choice of machines and updated machines

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
The rooms were small at 114 sq feet, but the porthole made it feel bigger. No safe or mini bar in our rooms, but it was adeqate for what we needed. 2 in the room was tight enough though.
Ship Quality
Clean and well mentained ship.
Food and Dining
great food quality and lots of options. Dinner at Vincents Dinning room was five star every night. You can order more than one dinner and 2 desserts, dont waste time trying to choose !! The windjammer cafe had an aray of choices as well
Service and Staff
The staff was so friendly, even the waiters that were not assigned to our table, helped us, when they saw is around the ship they came up and said hello. They remebered what we ordered the night before, who wanted tea and who wanted coffee. The best staff at sea !!
Entertainment
Lots of choices from bingo to trivia, my fav are always the hairy chest competions !!
Nassau, Bahamas
Atalntis was a nice trip, although they wont let you see most of it unless you pay $65.00 for access. you have to go to the public beach, bit of a dissapointment, but i think next time we would pay to see the rest of atlantis and have access to their private beach
