A Really Nice Time

Sail Date: August 15, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Oceanview

A well appointed, and clean ship

Pros: The Crew . . they went out of their way to accomodate you

Cons: Their "limited" menu

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
I had hoped for more than a port hole for an unobstructed ocean view room. The bed, being under the port hole, made access to the pull back curtains ackward
Food and Dining
A varied, adaquant menu for their sit-down evening meals. The fare at the Windjammer's (buffet) was very limited, although plentiful and well presented. The pizzera used frozen "shells" and was located in a tiny location
Ship Quality
One of RCLL's older ships; bits of rust showing through the paint work and stained windows and decking here and there
Service and Staff
"Over the Top" as it were . . they couldn't do enough
Entertainment
