This ship was just okay

Sail Date: August 01, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Inside

This is an older ship and the furnishings are worn. It is also small and when full feels even smaller. The guest services department was attentive when we complained about a large smelly stain on our cabin floor but it returned toward the end of the cruise.

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: Ship was older and worn

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED) 221? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
Ship Quality
The staff tried its best to keep the boat clean but given the age and the volume of people - this is difficult.
Food and Dining
Sit down dinners were better than the buffet.
Service and Staff
My child loved the kids' program.
Children's Programs
My child had a great time and the staff was terrific.
