Sad to see the Cruise Line go down hill

Sail Date: August 05, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

A poorly run ship and staff. The trip had all shore excursions cancelled and the staff could have cared less. The dining room staff served wrong dishes and cold food. We were squeezed into a corner where you couldn't stand up from the table without turning the chair sideways. Had to "grab" a wine steward. Poolside bar was slow and indifferent. Kids program left children unattended. Teens roamed all night long. Coupons were not honored. Shows were ok at best. Understaffed at front desk. You just had the feeling no one cared about your wants or needs. I did have a wonderful spa treatment, I should have stayed in there the whole trip.

Pros: the stateroom was spacious and clean

Cons: attitude of staff from the top down

We loved Atlantis but it can be very expensive but we felt worth it. You may want to call in advance for reservations rather than going on a tour from the ship.
Don't Miss: All water activities were cancelled
