best. Cruise. EVER!

Sail Date: August 01, 2011

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Inside

It was very family friendly. The activities for all ages were good. Perhaps the pool water could be changed during the week due to hot weather the water was not refreshing and it was dirty.

Pros: The food

Cons: The > 500 15 year old Argentinean girls in their revealing bathing suites all week.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Children's Programs
My 11 3/4 year old wasn't interested in the 9-11 activities. She wanted to be with the 12-14 but wasn't allowed. So she hung out at the pool and made friends there 2 night.
Service and Staff
The took care of messes right away and were very very friendly.
Ship Quality
When my family got on the ship, there were a few stains on my sheets, but other than that , everything was great.
Food and Dining
The food was delicious, the service was great an the dinner times was very convenient
Cabin / Stateroom
The size was okay, the decor was excellent. The beds were really comfy, and the location was fine.
Nassau, Bahamas
We rented scooters and had a blast. We saw most of the island and no crashes! Just remember to ride on the left side.
Don't Miss: Cabbage Beach
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Good place to snorkel.
Don't Miss: The Aqua park was fun.
