Great 4 day cruise

Sail Date: July 04, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

We had the best time on this ship. We're a gay couple and the staff was absolutely amazing. We felt so loved. The other guest also treated us with great love. The private island, Coco-cay, was incredible. The beach was beautiful and the water was so pristine. The only thing we did not like was the entertainment. There wasn't enough of it. We loved the food except for the buffet. It seemed like everything tasted the same in there. LOL. But everywhere else the food was exquisite, especially the dining room. We loved this cruise so much. Its a great 4 day cruise.

Pros: Dinning Room Food and DRINKS!!!!

Cons: Buffet Food and Shows

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
We've been on Carnival cruises and the staterooms on the ships we've been on were much bigger. This RC cruise had small ones. We've always been told RC cruises we're much better all around. I think this is the only ship that doesn't fall in that category. Still a great ship and cruise experience though. Next time we cruise we're gonna do RC still but on a different probably bigger ship.
