This was a girls weekend! We had fun from the moment we boarded until the moment we sadly disembarked. The staff was wonderful and the food was great.

Pros: loved every minute

Cons: can't really say anything negative

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED) 221? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
The cabins are small (we had an oceanview on deck 8; which is obstructed by the life boats) but they were clean. The decor is dated and could stand to be refurbished, but the cabin staff was good at keeping it tidy and well stocked with towels.
Ship Quality
Ship is clean although its decor is dated. The staff does a great job of keeping it clean.
Food and Dining
Our compliments to the chef. The food was excellent, well presented, very tasty and satisfying. We ate in the buffet several times, and their french fries were crispy, hot and delicious. The desserts in the dining room were outstanding!
Service and Staff
The staff was very helpful. We chose anytime dining, but we did make reservations, and the "Wait staff" we had were extremely helpful and we were shocked that on our second night they knew our names and drink orders!
shows were good, we loved the "little pirate" production!
