Sail Date: January 24, 2011
Ship: Monarch of the Seas
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple

The crew was womderful, everyone so friendly and helpful. The fact that we couldn't dock the tenders on Cocacay the first day because of rough waters but they tried again on the last day and were able to do it. They didn't give up. It was only a 4 night cruise but it felt like we were aboard for a whole week, they piled in so much to do if you wanted to take part, and it was fun.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We did the My Time dinning which was great because the first seating is too early and the 2nd seating is too late. The food was very good with a good selection and the waiters were wonderful, bring over samples of foods you didn't order.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment we saw was good except for the one night.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
They were all good, pleasant and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It was a perfect size ship, very easy to find your way around and very pretty decor.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The stateroom had enough drawer and closet space for the size of the room. It was very comfortable but missing an in room safe, which is important.
5 out of 5
Have been to the Island before, its just relaxing to spend the day at the beach. I wouldn't care if we missed it.
5 out of 5
Have been here so many times that nothing is exciting anymore.

Pros: Loads of music on board, always something to listen and dance to.

Cons: Some of the entertainment
