First Anniversary Cruise

Sail Date: September 06, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

On the first day we were in a room that smelled bad. On day two we discovered this was due to a plumbing problem. Guest relations placed us in a new room and made up for the inconvenience.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED) 221? Yes!

Ship Quality
Very easy to get around.
Food and Dining
Great variety, and tasty food, both buffet and sit down.
Cabin / Stateroom
Very cozy, but smaller than other boats.
Service and Staff
They smiled and were friendly 24/7.
Fun get together games, and entertaining nightly shows.
Nassau, Bahamas
The straw market is great a great place to bargain for souvenirs. We did several raffles at local jewelers and won some jewelry. Check with the shopping guide on board.
Don't Miss: Blue Lagoon Island (Salt Cay) is available as a shore excursion.
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Only problem were some pesky jellyfish, but the self help medical station cured that. The island is beautiful and there are plenty of things to do.
Don't Miss: Cruise line provides a barbecue lunch.
