Royal Caribbean 4 Night Bahamas Cruise
Monarch of the Seas Cruise Review to Caribbean - Bahamas
Sail Date: August 09, 2010
Ship: Monarch of the Seas
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Family (older children)

The ship had some age but was still nice and very clean. Dining and food were top notch. Staff and crew were very nice.
The TV stations were not good at all. Had only one network channel, and it was a CBS channel that was mostly reruns of shows that were on our US TV's a couple of weeks earlier. The only sports channel was ESPN International. It was not the same ESPN as I'm used to. Couldn't get Sports Center at night to get ballgame scores. I know people don't come on cruises to watch TV all the time, but as a sports fan, it drove me nuts not being able to see scores and not having ABC or NBC. That has to be fixed. The ice cream machine was GREAT, but it closed at 9pm. I heard Carnival's is open 24x7.

Don't Miss: Snorkeling
Don't Miss: Straw Market
Pros: The food was excellent, and the crew were all extremely nice. Hot tubs were nice, too.
Cons: The TV channel selection was really bad. The only sports channel was ESPN International. No baseball games on it. CBS channel was reruns. No ABC or NBC. That's gotta change.
