Monarch of the Seas

Sail Date: June 21, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Inside

The negatives to the trip include the age of the Monarch, the poor quality food and horrible dance shows. The boat looked old in several ways. The clubs and and theaters looked very 90's and the age was showing in several other aspects. The food was very disappointing in the dining rooms and buffets. The dance show was amazingly bad. I thought it was a joke at first.

The positives were the people. The employees on the ship did a great job and were very attentive.

Pros: The service from the crew was great especially our waiter Tamas and stateroom attendant Lucas.

Cons: The quality of the food was very poor
