Relaxing and Cruise

Sail Date: June 11, 2010

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

My wife and I totally enjoyed the cruise. It was very relaxing and Coco Cay was FUN! This little island had so much to offer. There was music all around and the staff was always ready to serve you. Games, dancing, shows! What else can you ask for?

Pros: Happy, Wonderful Staff

Cons: Not enough water available, you had to buy it and it was expensive.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED) 221? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
The size of the room was like any other in my past cruises. We were comfortable and cared for. The attendants were available to all and any need.
Ship Quality
Although I was not happy with the age of the ship, it was well maintained and the bathrooms were very clean.
Food and Dining
The food was very good. There was food available constantly.
Service and Staff
Amazingly friendlly staff. We were never in need of anything.
Lots of events and fun. Very enjoyable.
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Nothing was a waste of time in Cococay. You actually want to experience it all but don't get enough time to do so. From hammocks hanging here and there to the water slides and island tours, there's so much to do. We arrived in the morning and then by 4:30 had to be back on the ship. Too much in a little time.
Don't Miss: Don't miss the tours.
Nassau, Bahamas
We went to Nassau 4 years ago and it was not a good place at the time but we saw many great changes all around. The street pushers were gone, the annoying braiders who pushed you to get your hair braided were nowhere to be seen, although the signs to do so existed. The street vendors had better to offer and it was an all around good experience.
