good cruise

Sail Date: December 01, 2009

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

the ship was ok. good hot tubs and pools. the shows were average, needed more variety in the acts and music selections. the food needs work. the buffet was excellent, but dining room food needed variety, better desserts, etc. Our room staff and wait staff were friendly and good. the dining room was overcrowded and our staff had to serve about 6 tables, one having 12 people to it.

Pros: the royal carribean private island was great.

Cons: the food was not anything special. Few good desserts.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? No.
