A Great Cruise!

Sail Date: October 01, 2009

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

Pool Party from 12:00 P.M. till 5 P.M. would have been great if planned for the guests in a more appropriate way.
Lawn chairs should have been folded & stacked & stored.
Tables & chairs moved in so that guests would not have to carry their food & drink up the stairs to the next level of the Pool looking for somewhere to sit
Elderly people if they were lucky enough to find a lawn chair (most were not!)
had to sit & balance their food in an awkward manner.
People were continually walking up & down from 11:30 on hunting & seeking looking for somewhere to sit.
The food & presentation were great but the accommodations were inadequate & poor. Not well planned for seating arrangements. Many guests were dissatisfied as a result of insufficient & inadequate seating.

Pros: The staff aboard the Monarch of The Sea were the very best

Cons: The way the Pool Party was handled

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!
