Had a great time

Sail Date: September 01, 2009

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

We were on the ship on its maiden year of voyage 17 years ago. Still a grand ship. We have sailed often since, and the bathrooms and room sizes are small compared to the new ships but adequate. Surprised the rooms did not have a safe and havent added shelves in the bathrooms. minor updates that would be nice.

Pros: the entire 5 day cruise was great, good food, good entertainment, good weather

Cons: food in the casual dining room wasn't kept very warm.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!
