Fun ports, bad food, bad entertainment

The ship was nice. We took it for our honeymoon 15 years ago, and the age of the ship shows, but it's still a nice boat.

Pros: The ports of call

Cons: the food

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED) 221? No.

Nassau, Bahamas
If you're going to Paradise Island, take a cab. The walk to the beach from where the water taxi drops you off is WAY too far for a sane person.
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
It's a little like a cattle call with all the chairs lined up on the beach so close to one another. But the snorkeling was excellent. Food was the same stuff as on the ship - OK but nothing special.
Don't Miss: Go snorkeling out in the area where they take the divers. The water's a little rougher but the fish are phenomenal out there.
