Awesome Cruise to the Bahamas

Sail Date: May 25, 2009

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Monarch of the Seas is an older ship. However, it is immaculately kept. Very clean. The cabins were small but comfortable and quiet. Public areas were well maintained and enjoyable to be in. Dining room was very well laid out and private. Windjammer had plenty of room with comfortable seating. We felt like we had the entire ship to ourselves while eating.

Pros: Food was delectable

Cons: One of the pools was closed due to an accident of passenger

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Nassau, Bahamas
surrey ride was waste of time and money....driver appeared inibriated...quite a snorkeling enjoyed.
Don't Miss: Try Conch Salad and a cold Kalik by the Bridge to Paradise Island at Tall Boy's
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
snorkeling was excellent....lots of fish....barbeque lunch was tasty and fruits were succulent/fresh
Don't Miss: parasailing which we missed....will do next time
