Review SummaryThe staff was exceptional. VERY helpful, kind, courteous. We appreciated that they were all conversational as well as resourcesful. However, the down sidesides were the stench that our room had upon our arrival...that never faded, actually increased (smelled like sewage); the elevators took FOREVER so we ended up walking up stairs everywhere...which was fine for fitness, but irritating; the poolside was packed and felt like a meat market..no room for restful lounging; the food was just not that good..and the famous 'cruise buffets'...honestly was not much better than the caf when I was in college; the sundries shops weren't open until evening, but we needed a few things during the day...all in all it just felt kind of 'cheap'. While it was a great price for a cruise...I did exepct a little bit more. And sidenote: if you are not a drinker and don't want to be around a bunch of druink people, then you might not want to go on this cruise. We weren't drinkers and it was pretty obnoxious (drunk people yelling all night in the stateroom areas, loud obnoxious behavior from 'that guy' that's in every group of drunk people, LOTS of swearing from drunk people).
Pros: Our DIning Staff
Cons: The food & the sewer stench in our room that increased over the course of the cruise.
