Great Party Cruise!

Sail Date: June 06, 2008

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

I've been on the ship before but that was at least 10 years ago. I just remember it being lots of fun with lots of food. And everything seemed better than i remembered. The partying is much funner, food much better, service is excellent as always. I look forward going on another cruise somewhere else. Ensenada itself wasn't that great.

Pros: The service was Marvelous! Lots of young drunk people. Lots of activties, shows, and order anything for dinner or order room service anytime and it's all free. Hungry?...order a sandwich at 2am.

Cons: The trip was too short. Didn't have enough time to go rock climbing or do the rest of the activities.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Ensenada, Mexico
I think ensenada was a waste of time. Unless you plan on waking up and getting off the ship by 8am, there's no point in going to la bufadora. It takes 40 mins to get there and 40 mins to get back. so that's a wast of 2 hours almost. If you get off the ship by 11-12 noon you'll only have 2 hours at most so it's better to stay in downtown and shop and get drunk.
Don't Miss: The pharmacies aren't your regular pharmacies. They want to get you "high" in the words of the pharmacist.
