Cruising has changed the last few years, clearly. More fee for service features each year. RCI now makes you to do the extra mile, with the beach-towels, coupon system and envelop, although you pre-paid your tips.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Nothing exceptional, or disappointing but surf and turf, lobster gone in the last 3 years.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Waiter, assistant waiter at dinner exceptional.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Public bathrooms, casino, restaurant areas are becoming neglected, messy.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
No icebox in the cabin. The service, condition of the room otherwise good

Pros: The restaurant staff and service in the evenings, really good.

Cons: Breakfast in the restaurant: poor selection on the menu, disorganized staff. The beach towels you have to get on th 11th floor, personally carry back to the same spot. Prepaying tips, still have to deal with coupons for the stuff.Cabins without icebox.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas? No.
