Nice Cruise Despite the Horrible Weather

Sail Date: February 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

Despite the horrible weather (cold, stormy, windy weather), the cruise ship staff did everything possible to ensure people still had a good time. The staff are very friendly and come from many different countries. The shows were pretty good and there was plenty to do.

Pros: Friendly, hospitable staff

Cons: Attempts to sell us drinks, photos, etc non-stop

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
I don't consider a small hole- ocean view. Plus we heard engine noises all night.
