Royal Caribbean's Monarch of the Seas 4 night cruise to Coco Cay/Nassau. Nov.2009.
Very enjoyable cruise. Great food and service in the dining room. Vast assortment, and all you can eat, in the Windjammer Cafe. Went snorkeling at Coco Cay, the ship's private island in the Bahamas. Bring your own gear or get it on the island for a small fee. Clear water. Saw lots of fish, a sunken cannon, and a plane wreck. Don't miss the on board shows, Oldies rock and roll show, magicians, comedians. All were good. Pleasant courteous staff always around to help. There is plenty of passenger oriented entertainment to get involved in, dances, Bingo, Trivia, or just relax in the piano bar or by one of the two pools. There is a casino also, which I stayed away from, but a lot people seem to enjoy. On board kids clubs will keep the kids busy if you want some alone time. Overall a very enjoyable trip.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nassau

Entertainment
Quality song and dance shows. Excellent comedians.
Children's Programs
I did not have a child with me on this trip but the ten year old in the room next to mine stated he was "having a great time hanging out in his club."
Cabin / Stateroom
Like on most ships, a little small in size but clean and adequate.
Ship Quality
Older ship but very well maintained. Easy to navigate.
Food and Dining
Excellent selection and quality.
Service and Staff
Very courteous and helpful staff. We were always met with a greeting and a smile.
