Our first cruise

Sail Date: November 01, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

This was my first time on a ship since serving aboard a Destroyer 50 years ago.
My wife and I were impressed with all aspects of our journey. The food and service were first class and much more than we expected. We very much look forward to our next cruise.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Shower water not hot enough for me

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
It was kept quite clean but we would have liked it to be a bit larger.
Food and Dining
Like having a gourmet dinner each night.
Ship Quality
It seemed like we were in a first class hotel.
Service and Staff
No problems here as you could stop and ask any ships personnel a question on the fly and have them respond with pleasure.
