A tremendous break

Sail Date: October 01, 2009

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

The service by ships personnel was fantastic as was the food. We have found that to be true particularly of Royal Carribbean in general. Prices of drinks was what I would consider exhorbitant but the cruise was a welcome break both from everyday routine and cold weather.

Pros: As usual, the food was terrific!

Cons: Ship is beginning to show its age. The toilet was contrary about flushing.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED) 221? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Some areas of rust and the toilet refused to flush sometimes.
Service and Staff
Ship Quality
There didn't seem to be as many public restrooms as I remembered on newer and larger ships. They weren't that well marked either.
