Good and Bad

Sail Date: September 01, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship is OLD. It is pretty well maintained but it is missing many things that we take for granted on the newer ships. No safes was a big issue for security.

Pros: The entertainment and private Island were great.

Cons: Customer Relations staff should all be fired.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? No.

Service and Staff
It is only this low because of the Customer Relations staff. Number one, learn to speak English. Number Two, rudeness and stupidity do not equal customer service. Our stateroom attendant saved the situation after Guest Relations on the ship and on the phone could not accomodate. Thanks Keith.
Cabin / Stateroom
The room was normal size for an OLD ship. Old, tiny TV was comical. No Safe, and no ability to handle medical needs.
Ship Quality
Ship was clean.
Food and Dining
One of the best food experiences.
Very good
