Bahamas Cruise---my first one

Sail Date: May 22, 2009

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The ship was pretty clean. There were plenty of things to do, but I think it was more for an "older crowd". Nothing much for 20-30 somethings, except the bar. Service was wonderful! We were late getting to Nassau which caused us to miss our excursion, but we had bad weather, so it really wasn't anybody's fault. Definately worth the price!

Pros: Good food & entertainment

Cons: Tiny room

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED) 221? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Like a small hotel room....comfortable bed, small room, wonderful stateroom attendant! Tiny bathroom.
Wonderful comedians, variety/game shows.
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Yummy food!
Service and Staff
Perfect service! Friendly and very attentive!
Nassau, Bahamas
Must go to Paradise Island--but it is expensive!!! Senor Frogs is very exciting also. Enjoyed eating at Johnny Rockets in Nassau (it was the cheapest restaurant with a hot dog for $9.00, haha)
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
It rained on our beach day so we didn't get to go snorkeling or even lay on the beach, BUT had it been sunny Im sure it would have been wonderful!! Very nice island.
