Unfortunately, we arrived about 20 minutes late for boarding due to construction areas and delays for accidents. We were told our only option was to fly and meet up with the ship in Nassau. We drove to the nearest International airport and checked on one way flights. The flight was a staggering $900 each, plus overnite stay in Nassau to meet up with the ship. Since the insurance doesn't cover any of this we just found a hotel in Orlando for the night and drove home the next day. Had we been flying and missed a connection which caused us to miss the ship we could get money back, but we get nothing because of driving conditions.

Pros: Able to purchase insurance

Cons: No insurance refund (full or partial) due to heavy traffic, construction and delays for accidents.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!
