We went on our first cruise on RC's Monarch of the Seas. The people are extremely friendly aboard. The food during dinner is excellent. Breakfast was the same thing every single morning. It got boring after the second day. The entertainment was ok. I just didnt like the singers singing. It was very mediocre. I recommend if you want to go to the land excursions you get up early in the AM and go. You would have to be back on the ship at 5pm. The earlier the more exploration you can have. Its very hard to get up early when there is so much to do late at night. We got really sea sick during dinner time on the first night, only because its a smaller ship you could feel every wave. The bigger the ship the better. You wont be able to feel the ship as much.Oh yeah, dont try to take pictures with the dressed up people at all the shore excursions.(They are workers from the ship) NOT with your own camera at least, they will give you a hard time about it. Because they want YOU to buy THIER copies on the ship. TIP: BUY YOUR PICTURES THE VERY LAST DAY! THEY GO HALF OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We tried to get a refund but they wouldnt let us. Remember to tip your room attendant.

The chefs choices are always excellent. Order as much as you want because you would never see those people again!

Everyone is very friendly. Watch out for those photograhy people. They can be rather agressive.

Tip your stateroom attendant. Leave the money inside the room instead of putting it in the drop box.

Go EARLY to see the sights and sounds of this place. Its wonderful. Very Beautiful sea. La Buffadora is awesome. Dont be afraid to haggle!!!! 5 dollars is little to us but a lot to them.

Beautiful city. Go early and shop and see all the sights. We didnt get to see all. It gets really cold there. Bring a sweater.

Pros: The People and Dinner!

Cons: Breakfast and the singing
