We will stick to at least a 7 day cruise, more entertainment and better food and larger ships

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Dining room good but buffet not so good

Entertainment

1 out of 5
not much going on during evenings, unless you are into drinking alot. Shows were just ok.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Staff overall were good, dining staff excellent

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
If you have been on a 7 day cruise you may find it rather small, but considering it's age it seemed well maintained

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
No safe in room and very little storage compared to other ships we've been on

Pros: dining room staff

Cons: lack of storage in cabins, no safe in cabin, not alot of activities, short buffet hours, and not a great food selection in buffet

Recommends Monarch of the Seas? No.
