it so happened that our first cruise had tons of gays and lesbians on it. I dont know if the ship was sponsoring this sort of event but i was not accustom to seeing 2 guys on the dance floor freaking each other and talking formal pictures together. the Ship is in need of a major renovation, staff was amazing, cruise director was the best. The international staff will treat you like no other.

Pros: Crew and staff were amazing

Cons: casino and the numerous gays and lesbians on the cruise

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Service and Staff
went above and beyond. they would spoon feed you if you like..such great service.
occupied most of the time on the cruise. All is planned out from morning to night.
Ship Quality
very out dated....somewhat old fashioned.
Cabin / Stateroom
very outdated but well kept. Still has the smell as if it was smoked in however.
Food and Dining
service was incredible. claudes and vincents is 5 star dining. Stay away from the buffet because you cannot control what you eat there.
