Fun filled cruise!
Monarch of the Seas Cruise Review to Mexico
Sail Date: August 24, 2007
Ship: Monarch of the Seas
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Family (older children)

I was very impressed with the entire crew member of Monarch of the Sea. From the moment we checked in at the counter to our departure off the boat, everyone was very courteous, happy go lucky, and gave the impression that they enjoy their job. Our room attendant, Dean, was always there with a smile.
I am amazed at the guest/crew ratio on the ship. You will have to go too far to ask for information or help, or just to get pampered.
The worst thing about the trip was the drunken behavior of some of the guests. If you have children and want to hang out by the pool be prepared that they can be exposed to profanity. I would have liked to see separate pools for adults and children.... or removal of guests who were obvioulsy too intoxicated.
Still, we had loads of fun on this trip. Did not even have to take an entire day of vacation to do this cruise. Would not hestiate to go again if we ever come across a great deal.

Pros: the part I enjoyed the most about the cruise was the crewe on board. Everyone was super friendly from our room attendant, the bar tender, the dealers at the casino, to the assistent waiter.
Cons: Drunk guests at the pool - would be nice if the cruise line keep separate pools for adults and children
