Ship seemed old and dirty. Dark colors made it seem very somber. Food was average except the escargot was the best I've ever had! Would have liked a later show and more variety of entertainment. The showroom was nice and shows they did have were worth seeing.

Would have liked more variety and longer hours.

Service and Staff

Other than one server at our table most seemed too busy to provide much personal service.

Pipe broke under our shower at one point and the room began to smell. Having fans blowing the carpet dry was noisy and made our room unusable for most of the day for most of the trip. Fans blowing in the hallway all night weren't fun either.

Pros: Restaurant staff for evening meals -

Cons: Dirty water with brown particles in bathroom. We were told this only happens twice a year when tanks are flushed. We went in July. Friends who went in September had the same problem.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas? No.
