Ship can NOT handle the amount of people it is supposed too. Not enough elevators. Pools are too small. Buffet are is too small.....DO NOT EXPECT A QUIET OR RELAXING CRUISE. This is the worst RCCL ship I have sailed on & I am a diamond member.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Main dining room for was for the most part was good. I ate all the meals there except 1 lunch at the buffet because I could not stand all the unruly, greedy pigs at the buffet.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
There seemed to be a lot too do on sea days, but I did not partake in anything.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Ice show was good & the show with the singers & dancers was very good
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All the staff were excellent, no issues with anybody
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
Too many people for this size of ship, crowds everywhere. Not enough elevators, pools way too small, crowds, crowds everywhere & the ship was only 3/4 full because of hurricane Dorian.
Cabin / Stateroom

NEVER, NEVER, I REPEAT NEVER BOOK a Promenade view interior cabin if you want to get some sleep. There is a bar on the promenade that has a sing along EVERY NIGHT TILL MIDNIGHT.....
I booked this cruise just to visit Coco Cay after it's so called $250 million update. I don't do water slides or that stuff so I stayed on the "FREE" side. The beach area for swimming or snorkeling was a joke, water full of seaweed, muddy bottom that you sank into & a stench of a sewer everywhere. The huge fresh water pool was no fun, too many people partying & drinking & throwing drinks at each other, the music was soooooooo loud it gave me a headache. Food offerings were good, no issues there.
I'm sorry you didn't have a great trip. Having diamond status for Royal, I assume you have been on many other ships and lengths of cruises. Many people warn about shorter itineraries having much more of a party vibe than longer trips. Mariner is only doing three and four night trips with lots of late night activities. A little more research on your part may have helped in selecting a better room location. It is easy to find past cruise compasses on Royal Caribbean blog to help next time.
