Overall, we had a fantastic time. This was the first cruise for the kids and they are already asking when we can go again! The teen club had fun activities planned and gave the kids the freedom they were looking for!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Check-in process was extremely easy!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Main dining room service was extraordinary
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
SkyPad, Rick climbing, ice skating, etc were all amazing. Was a little disappointed with the movies at the pool. Selection was good but they shut the pools down and you could only use the hot tubs. The kids were pretty sad.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Musicians were fun, game shows were fun, ice show was a little different, but good considering the smaller rink to work with.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Wait staff was absolutely amazing. I was surprised to find out they only work together (the head waited and assistant) for a week and then switch. They remembered names and regular orders! Room steward was also amazing. He was in/out so quickly, it made us wonder how he had made up our room so quickly!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everything was very very clean with the exception of one tiny, latrine style, bathroom near the basketball court. And that might have been a timing thing. I seemed to have attempted to use it after a previous guest had a bad go at it. (She must have had a very upset belly)
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
I left the large bed together on the bottom and the kids used the bunk beds that pull down from the ceiling.
We visited blue lagoon island and did the dolphin encounter. Was very well organized and friendly staff. We spent most of our time there and did not visit in the city of Nassau itself at all.
We signed up for the snorkeling at your leisure at cocoa cay. I would love to see it once the construction is complete. Looks like it will have more options. Snorkeling was ok. Sea was a little bit choppy and I wish there was a little more variety of sealife to see.
