Review summary

As stated, I was billed twice for gratuities for 5 people. That's 500 USD.  I received no refund, or even understanding from staff. If you book this cruise, refuse to pay gratuities as your booking, you will be billed again and forced to pay again out the door. And demand an itemized invoice after you complete your booking. They don't send you one, and as prices are always fluctuating there is no way for you to prove how much of your bill was the ticket price and how much was the gratuities and the health insurance they make you pay for as you book the trip.

Royal Caribbean has TERRIBLE internal communication! Just try to find out which port your leaving from, you will never find a definitive answer in English.

Ship tip

Give me a refund on the gratuities you billed me for twice. And improve the communication between departments.

Well I wonder why... maybe stop trolling, and for your first cruise you apparently know everything about cruising ...

I thought you could ask for gratuities to be taken off your bill if dissatisfied anyway?

That's ABSURD that you would be claiming what you are claiming! You have no cruises listed under your name, no photos, and only this review. You are obviously just trying to troll RCCL unjustly. You never have to pay for gratuities in advance and if you even went on this cruise, you probably thought you were paying gratuities or didn't understand that you would be paying gratuities during the cruise. You don't know which port you are leaving from????? Really?
