Ship was very nice. The state room was well taken care of by the attendant. Food was great. Portifinos was very cozy and quality the food and service was excellent. The embarking phase of getting our sail pass card went well as well and getting on the ship in Galveston TX. The early disembarking at 7:30am was a near disaster. The elevators did not work as so many people were jammed in the hall ways of the 4th deck and there was no room for anybody to get off the elevators on the 4th deck. So for people like me and my wife we had to drag our luggage up many flights of stairs. During the cruise, nobody was watching the children tying up the elevators by plain elevator tag.

Pros: The shows were very good. Kivi Rogers was great as a comedian.

Cons: The excursions were all back to back. It would have been much better if there was a sail day in between each excursion. The Johnny Rockets did not have Phily Cheese Steak sandwiches on the Menu when in fact every one of the Johnny Rockets in the US does have the cheese steak option.

Recommends Mariner of the Seas? No.
