HUNDREDS of people's room cards would not unlock the doors. Stood in line for 45 minutes. Guest Relations handled it poorly. We were tired after the boarding process and this could have been averted by taking our keys, letting us sit down and bring the keys to us as they were remade. Maybe a free drink or at least a glass of water.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was excellent. Most complained coffee was bitter.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Very good shows.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great waiter and maid service was excellent.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Ship shows sign of age - parts of deck 4 were closed due to painting. Public toilets smelled like a sewer, smoking smells exist beyond smoking areas (filters dirty?), sauna/steam room was closed for repairs one day.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very clean, but our toilet had a foul odor.

Pros: Food and staff were very courteous

Cons: Restrooms smelled like a sewer

Recommends Mariner of the Seas? No.
