Mariner of the Seas Cruise

Sail Date: November 01, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Ship showed a little sign of wear and tear but nothing major. They were replacing carpeting on stairways. We would certainly cruise on The Mariner in the future.
Embarkation: There were no lines in the terminal and we were checked in and on the ship within five minutes!! Disembarkation was also a breeze.

Pros: Friendly staff, good food and clean ship

Cons: Entertainment

Recommends Mariner of the Seas? Yes!

The ice show was fantastic. The other entertainment was average.
Ship Quality
Easy to find your way around this ship. Public areas were kept very clean and neat.
Food and Dining
We never had a bad meal in the dining room. Chops was very good. Johnny Rockets a fun place for lunch. Windjammer - so so as it is a buffet.
Cabin / Stateroom
Superior balcony cabin on deck ten. Steward kept room in tip top shape. Asked to have a mattress replaced, and it was done promptly.
Service and Staff
We were impressed with the friendliness of the ship's staff and crew. Steward kept room spotless. Waiter, Neptali, in the main dining room was excellent.
