We sailed on the last western Caribbean cruise for this wonderful ship. Captain Johnny is a hoot! The entire crew was excellent - customer service is indeed job #1 for them. The ship was still decorated for Christmas and we enjoyed celebrating the New Year aboard. It was easy for my sons (in their early 20's) to be entertained and keep busy during our 2 cruising days and at night after I was ready to relax. Somebody was always eating!

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We chose late dining to avoid eating with small children. Our server was the best. We never left hungry. On lobster night, everyone at the table got at least 2 servings. He was friendly and very accommodating. Most of us skipped the last dinner as we had a very annoying table mate who none of us wanted to see on our last night.

If you get a chance to go the adult only Quest, do not miss it!!!!!!

Ship Quality

The spaces were well designed and assigned. Cleanliness - YES! We went out of our room barefoot several times without coming back with dirty feet. Normal decor was nice and in scale with the size of the rooms. Christmas decorations were beautifully done.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
If you think the seas might be rough, stay lower and toward the middle of the ship! We were forward on the 8th deck and wished for the stability for a couple of days. The balcony room with sleeper sofa had plenty of room for the 3 of us.

Pros: Never felt like there were 3500 cruisers!

Cons: The week ended too soon

Recommends Mariner of the Seas? Yes!
