A wonderful trip with my family !!!!

Sail Date: January 01, 2007

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Oceanview

It was a delight to see our 14 yr.grandson in a tux and our 12 yr. old grandaughter dressed like a young lady for the formal dining. They had the freedom to do so many activities like staying up late in their lounge with friends of their own age or rock climbing, swimming in the beautiful pool area or playing in the arcade. All this while their parents relaxed, taking in the dancing, music or nightly entertainment. We just relaxed in the pool/hot tubs/spa or ate to our hearts content. We even had a friendly game of bridge in your games room. The food was fantastic whether it was in the cafe, the Windjammer buffet or the dining room or the many areas we didn't get to this trip. We have to save something for the next time. The best part was sharing the experience with the whole family.P.S.the towel sculptures every night put in our rooms by the cabin crew were delightful!!!

Pros: activities for my grandchildren .They had 'A BLAST'according to my 14 yr. old grandson. They had a great time while their parents relaxed. Also enjoyed seeing them all dressed up for formal dinners. Enjoyed the shows everynight!! The towel sculptures were a great touch!

Cons: feeling seasick for a lot of the time

Recommends Mariner of the Seas? Yes!

Dining room staff were wonderful. They even made sure my husband got his nightly shrimp cocktail even if it wasn't on the menu.
Cabin / Stateroom
The next time we would choose a more central room. We did a lot of extra walking
