Review summary

Ship is so overpacked with ppl. Wait times for most things. Really hard to get a drink with crowds 2-3 people deep waiting at bar. We had a terrible time at the Ciucina Capitano restaurant as the wait time was excessive and the food was so greasy and salty. MDR food was good and service excellent. Cabin was good along with a great steward. Buffett was not good and lack of tables to sit at esp clean ones. Swarms of ppl everywhere.

The MDR had good quality food Our service from our wait staff was phenomenal. Imade and Arsenio were excellent The buffett food quality and variety was very average. Had to fight for tables to sit at and mist of the time they were stacked with dirty dishes as staff could not keep up.

The teen clubs were okay. As far as activities the large orange water slide was broken the entire week.

Our wait staff (Imade and Aresenio) in the MDR were amazing. Same for our room steward. Staff at Java Cafe were top notch.

Ship Quality

The Mardi Grad crams in so many cabins to the point where you are packed in like sardines. The common areas like theaters and venues were super tiny. We had to get on line a half hour in advance for shows. It was very hard finding a table at the buffet and most of the time we sat at dirty and uncleared tables as staff could not keep up with the volume. So many passengers got sick on the cruise with upper respiratory infections and who knows of it was due to lack of cleanliness.

Cabin size and comfort was fine. Same goes for cleanliness. We liked our balcony.
