Review summary

Fun cruise. This was really more about the ship vs the stops. San Juan was great, walking in the old city is always good. Amber Cove doesn't have much except for the cruise Port and Grand Turk is always a great beach stop and has the local beer available too

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Excellent. The embarkation was quite different this time. Very easy.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
All the restaurants we tried were very good. The steakhouse and chef's table were excellent as always. On this ship though, don't expect much from the Lido marketplace, it's not much. I do wish they would adjust the breakfast a little and serve actual breakfast sausage links and not kielbasa or smoked sausage that you would eat for dinner or the things that look like smoky links or turkey sausage. My only complaint

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
There's some options, but we really didn't use them much except spas. Just too many kids in any of the pools. They really need to create more adult only areas other than just the serenity deck. That's almost impossible to find a spot to relax on. Also, be ready to pay out if you do want to try the roller coaster, $15 a ride

Entertainment

3 out of 5
I never expect much from the entertainment. This time the violinists were the best, they did have some ok musicians playing 80s rock and the 80s glow party was fun. I was hoping for a good show when I saw the title "revolution of rock", the I read the description and it had nothing to do with rock really. It was about Woodstock which was really more folk music

Children's Programs

I don't have young children anymore, we travel as a couple

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This ship is huge, sometimes confusing, but beautiful.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Very tight. It was difficult to get past the bed to go out on the balcony. There was only about 10 inches space between the end of the bed and the wall and the TV is on the wall in that area and sticks out about 3-4 inches at shoulder height

Ports of call

We are supposed to go to Nassau on the Mardi Grad in two weeks. May I ask why and when your itinerary changes? Just curious.
