Overall, a really great experience on a truly awesome ship! This new design is a game-changer for Carnival. Looking forward to the next time on this ship!
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Embarkation was somewhat hectic. It was very hard to hear the announcements as they called out the numbers that were being boarded. Other than that, it was a fairly easy process.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The specialty restaurants were awesome, especially Emeril's and Rudi's. However, the MDR food quality was not the norm. The food in the Steakhouse was excellent, but the service was sub-par.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Enough great activities to keep you busy for the entire week!
Entertainment

The performers, including comedians and singers/dancers were awesome!
Service and Staff

Very efficient and welcoming as usual.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The layout was much different from any other Carnival ships, so it took a couple of days to get our bearings, but it was definitely a magnificent ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Size was great, except for the bathroom. The shower was huge, but it seems as if they took space away from the rest of the bathroom to increase the shower size. Very tight fit. The only other downside for this cabin was the noise from the BOLT, which is a few decks right above. However, you get used to it after the first couple of days. Also, it doesn't run at night. Lastly, we loved the extra space on the balcony.
Ship tip
Pick a cabin in the rear (aft) of the ship because the elevators midship and forward get crowded really fast. We were glad that we never really had to wait for an elevator up or down in the rear section of the ship.
