This was the most disappointing experience as Carnival lost one piece of luggage; did not live up to the expectations of a "flagship".
Embarkation
4 out of 5
The process went smooth. Port seemed a little disorganized - but they attempted to keep things flowing
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Food just didn't seem to have any "pizazz". The pizza was cold and had no taste. Best food on the ship was Guy's Burgers - and the lobster tail.
Guy's Burger Joint

Food was delicious!Servers were entertaining
Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse

Service was awesome!Food was outstanding!
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Unless you are in to drinking - there are limited activities. Even activities for families seemed to all be held in bars
Entertainment
3 out of 5
We were only able to attend one show and the musicians were great. All the other shows were in high traffic areas where you couldn't focus - or in a bar where you could only hear the drunks and the bar equipment.
Children's Programs
Did not travel with children
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Room steward was average; most of the servers in the restaurants were great.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Need less areas not focused on gambling and drinking.
Areas were clean - but why wouldn't they be as we had a shipload of Carnival dignitaries.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The rooms are much smaller; bed was great; balcony was great - except we spent more time cleaning it than the ship's personnel; shower was OK for us - but a larger person would have trouble.
Ship tip
Be prepared for a ship full of alcohol. CARRY YOUR OWN BAGGAGE - Don't trust them with it. Check your account DAILY
Interesting review. Maybe has not cruises Carnival before or much as it is the party cruise. Most cruises understand we are there for the party. Maybe try Holland next time.
Interesting comment about being able to walk around with the locals and or the ports being dirty. One things people like most is seeing and talking to the locals and seeing and learning how they live.
