Review summary

All in all a cruise is always great and it's what you make it. I had a great time even though for me personally, the ship didn't live up to the hype. Will I go on it again? Of course. Will I go out of my way to book it or be disappointed when going on smaller or older ships? Absolutely not. I just want to cruise and apparently new ships don't matter to me lol

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation was a little slow but it was still decent for the amount of people there.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Dining room food was definitely missing the mark. Big Chicken, Chibang, Emerils, La Cucina all exceptional!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5

Entertainment

5 out of 5
In my opinion, for a 7 day cruise, they were lacking entertainment. Seemed like there has been more in the past but could just be me. Comedy was good, Family Feud was awesome, we typically enjoy trivia but they didn't have any themes that interested us this trip.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Most of the staff was extremely helpful. Our room steward was a little distant. Although our room was made up, we could tell he was doing the bare minimum.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship design.... I am not a fan of the layout. There is no open concept, everything is hidden around corners.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Another 6 inches in the bathroom would work wonders! The cabin itself is decent although fairly small but the bathroom is tiny!

Ship tip

Be prepared to hunt for the venues and things you want on this ship.... everything is hidden.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
4 stars only because I have never been a fan of this port. Not much to see and do without and excursion due to hurricane damage and construction. They are building up so I am interested to see it once it's completed.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

Their is no hurricane damage in Nassau, fake news. 1 mile walk to Junkanoo Beach would be a perfect day. A $10 cab ride down to Cable Beach or others. Plenty to do if you get beyond the port area.
