This was our 1st cruise after the shutdown and it was so great to be back!! In all honesty we were not sure if we would like this ship since we love the smaller ships..but she may look big but she still has that Carnival Cruise Line feel and this ship has some awesome features and places to hang out at. Our absolute favorite hangout was at Summer Landing with the chairs that are in the pool with a cold beer. That was our happy place.
Embarkation

Very quick! We hit it at the right time though since as soon as we got there and went through the health evaluation they called our zone number. As soon as we boarded we did our e-muster (right in the atrium). Very smooth

From the Playlist cast to the soloist on board..everything was fantastic! If you want a good time in the evening Patrick Duffy in the Piano Bar is a riot!

The crew on this ship went above and beyond (like they always do) to make this cruise a memorable one. We love the CCL Crew!
Ship Quality

We loved how the ship was designed..very similar to a spirit class ship. Just have to remember decks 6, 7 &8 for food, drink & enterainment then 16, 17 & 18 for the outside activities and additional food venues. And the ship was ALWAYS clean. Those workers work so hard to keep it that way. Kudos to Carnival!
Cabin / Stateroom

The room was wonderful! Love the new color scheme and especially being in a cove! But it is smaller, so it is tight to walk in front of the bed and the bathrooms are tighter...but at least the show is glass and not a curtain :)
Ship tip
The entrance to the Theater is hard to get to.. especially if you want to bypass the casino... so there are two ways..If you go all the way forward on deck 8 and go down the stairs you can get to the top level...if you go all the way forward on deck 6 and walk by the spa you can go in the lower part of the theater.
Easy port to get to! We were there in June for the welcoming party for the Mardi Gras, but this time we stayed at the Hampton Inn at the port and got a Lyft there.
We have been to Cozumel a few times and we went to Mr. Sanchos for the 1st time (that's all that we did in Cozumel). It was ok..maybe we will try Paradise Beach Club next time.
The port area itself was nice. Lots of shopping and a pool w/ swim up bar to cool off in. We rented a golf cart to ride around the area and to go to the lighthouse. nice area but lots of pushy vendors (beware!) The light house and the beach bar that we went to were awesome places to check out.
We love Roatan! We did an island tour w/the monkey and sloth park with Real Deal Roatan Tours and they were amazing! Highly recommend them if you are coming to Roatan!
Thank You for sharing. Did you find your stateroom noisy at all? I am booked in a CC on 5 as well. I did not realize that so many venues were directly above it, now I am concerned.
